Ok, a quick summary of my issues and concerns to help narrow down suggestions. I am looking to have either myself or a nearby garage get my 98 Pontiac Trans Am back to where it is legally drivable on MA streets. Concerns: -Vehicle has been in storage for 6 years -Would be looking for shops/garages in Eastern MA, (say around Plymouth or Cape Cod area), now I have looked online for a few shops but would love some more first hand insight. -Vehicle has had quite a bit of modifications done to it, my main concerns would be the true dual glass-pack exhaust, hooker long tube headers and the tint job having to be stripped down (also pretty sure I'm just going to be ripping out every piece of rubber and tubing in there and replacing them due to years of sitting) I had left it at the point where I could either go back to street legal or just make it a track car, due to some unforeseen circumstances with work I will be heading back to MA and not being able to keep the car as just a toy (aka back to daily driver). Now the car has been in a garage in storage, covered, set up to avoid limestone damage from below, but only started a few times (and I don't think its been touched since 2006). The tint has some custom artwork etched into it so hoping to find a local place that can do a similar job with a legal tint (its at .02% light atm). Anyone know any good shops? Any suggestions on a MA legal exhaust system I can go with (would love to not choke up the air flow, but ya got to do what ya got to do)? Been out of the loop (and the states) for quite some time, so I haven't been keeping up with who makes the latest and greatest for American cars. Thanks in advance a) wouldn't be asking publicly where do I find a shady shop that I can just give an extra $100 to and get a sticker... b) sure as hell wouldn't be going to any shop that answered. :P...
