I outlined the plot and characters and everything. It's a horror novel about these kids who are on a field trip and have to stay at a haunted hotel. There's more to it but I don't want to give the plot away. The main character is Eliza and she's the main character, and the book is in 1st person. This is an OUTLINE of the beginning plot: Eliza, Alex and Damien are three best friends in the eighth grade. Eliza is aggressive yet eccentric, Alex is intelligent and polite while Damien is flamboyant and loves shopping more than his two girl-friends. He loves Lady Gaga and is obsessed with Starbucks. Things take a turn for the worst when the trio is on a class trip visiting Plymouth, MA. First the day starts off normal, and although they've heard rumors about the hotel being haunted they don't think much of it. Not sure how to start. Maybe when they're waiting to get on the buses in the cafeteria or something? Or should it be when Eliza is getting ready? (Although I think that's cliched.)
